Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account data: names, email addresses and password hashes of workspace members; two-factor settings.
• Customer messaging data processed for our business customers: WhatsApp phone numbers, profile names, messages and media, delivery statuses, contact attributes, tags and consent records.
• Billing data: invoices, payment references (UPI transaction references) and payment screenshots that customers submit.
• Technical data: logs, IP addresses and device information needed for security and reliability.

How we use it

To provide the service (sending and receiving WhatsApp messages through Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API, the shared inbox, campaigns and automations), to secure accounts, to bill for the service, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use customer messaging data for advertising.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run Fenwira: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Cloud API, as directed by the business), Amazon Web Services (hosting in the Mumbai region, ap-south-1) and our email provider. Each processes data under its own terms and only for these purposes.

Retention

Messaging data is kept while the business’s workspace is active and deleted according to its retention settings or on request after the workspace is closed. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit; access tokens and secrets are encrypted at rest; each workspace’s data is isolated at the database level; access by our staff is limited, protected by two-factor authentication and audited.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. If you are a customer of a business that uses Fenwira, contact that business first; we will help it respond. Reply STOP to a business’s WhatsApp messages to opt out of its marketing messages.
